The enemy

The enemy ðŸ‘»ðŸ‘»ðŸ‘»ðŸ‘»ðŸ‘»

A dark chilling thriller set in London, everyone over 14 is  dead or has been attacked by a horrible illness, and the young ones like freak  and tiny Tim  are in danger all the time , danger of being eaten by psychotic boil-riven  grown-ups who creep around the streets looking for children to kill and feast upon ,even there own parents wants to chomp on there children's flesh .looked after by the oldest in there gang Arran and Maxie and armed with temporary ,they hope weapons, a group of kids get out from the safety of a "shipwrecked" supermarket to travel to Buckingham Palace, where a young message deliverer  promises that food, medicine, and a safe roof over there head are available. Along the way someone dies ,you have to read the book to find out who .One youngster selfishly decides to stay behind with a secret stash of food and is there to tell Small Sam, who gets taken and feared torn limb from limb where the others have headed.

My review ðŸ‘£
I have been going to the library down my road for moths and time and time again I have seen it picked it up read the blurb and put it back down like it was poisonous ,then I finally made the decision to stop being a numpty and read it I was amazed it was amazing .
WWW-it captures you like a Venus fly trap. And consumes you and you have to fight yourself out of it it is so good ,this is definitely one for Halloween I love it especially the really grusome parts .....most of the time
EBI -ummmmmmmm nothing maybe if they put me in it hahaha
Now what we have been waiting for stars....ll.l⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Who should read it and why
As I said it is an amazing book but it is quite deep and emotional I mean what book wouldn't be if it was about you own parents half dead and trying to kill you ,but not just that  it has stong language and even some parts of it I cringed at because of the nature of it and  a 13 year old being ripped limb from limb by a deranged creature that roamed the earth so I think it is about 13+ (if you have a strong  stomach).

Bulging Brains

Bulging brains is an anatomy book all about our wonderful bodies and what they do.This book explains what our  bodies  do during the time we are alive .Bulging brains  explains what happens when your body is under stress and answers common questions like.....well you will have to read this perfect balance between being informative and captivatingly funny also known as a book to find out !Won't   you ?

The reason why I found this book amazing was because it gave me a new way or even a new reason to praise God for my body because God  has made it so complex yet so beautiful .i mean did you know that there  are no pain receptors in the brain, so the brain can feel no pain and that The weight of the human brain is  round about 3 lbs and last but certainly not least there  are 100,000 miles of blood vessels in the brain.i know ,wow those are awesome facts !

I'm not normally into the non-fiction genre but this book was so hilariously  funny I couldn't put it down!   For me I found It had some very weird  but informative facts that I would never have dreamed about or even probably  wanted to think about as they where so complex. However Nick Arnold ,(the author of this book) really put it in perspective and in a way for me to understand .So thumbs up!

Rating & recommendation !!!!!!!xxxxx

Bulging brains got ....***** stars  out of five as this book was what it said on the cover 100% horrible but painfully funny I couldn't even read a sentence without a giggle rupturing out of my mouth!bulging brains is a really good book to read when you are either having a not so funny day ,for that will surely make you laugh.Or when you are having one of those  random but inquisitive days because this book answers many questions to do with bodily functions and parts so you won't be bothering your mom, dad, sisters or brothers with  questions that know one else particularly cares about except you  ! I recommend this book to children 10+ as it mentions things like dissection and gory things children under  ten might find quite discomforting and unusually freaky !

Please read this book it's round about £6.00 depending on where you go but it is an amazing read and I am sure anyone who  is interested in biology would love it .well at least that's why I do!

Lizzie Zipmouth

Family is really important ;that is the lesson  lizzie learnt in this poignant book  called Lizzie Zipmouth by Jacqueline Wilson ,it is the story a girl called Lizzie and her mummy  . Lizzie  has recently got fed up and has decided not to speak because Lizzie's previous step dad mentally abused Lizzie and her mother so Lizzie and her mom made the big decision to run away from this violent and repulsive man. but soon after ,Lizzie's mother fell in love with a different man called Sam .he was a very kind man but (lizzie didn't think so) .Sam had two sons one called Rory and the other called Jake this finally made Lizzie snap as she thought her mother was making the same mistake but Sam was intact the opposite  of what Lizzie had first believed  i fact he was a kind loving man but of-course Lizzie didn't know this so she carried on being stubborn and silent until she met somebody in the family who was very old ,her new step great gran who was as judgemental and stubborn as Lizzie so through there two faults they bonded and found they both had the same hobby an obsession. collecting china dolls ! that where all shapes and sizes . . .  Then something changed her new great gran and friend had a massive stroke causing her not to be able to speak or move! Lizzie was so worried she couldn't sleep, eat and she even started crying in her sleep but then finally when her step dad Sam agreed to let lizzie go and see her great gran in hospital Lizzie was regretting  it as she saw everyone either crying or dying  but then she saw her gran and Lizzie was actually very happy when  she came even though she couldn't interact with her .but in the hospital a miracle happened through Lizzie's new found cheekiness she taught her great gran to speak once more !!!

By Lizzie's experience she understands that family are really important and you will miss them when they are not there and there is a thing called unconditional  love !!! I enjoyed this book because Jacqueline Wilson wrote it in such a way I couldn't put it down and I got sucked into this experience and I was Lizzie I was even anxious for her grandmother so Jacqueline Wilson taught me how to sympathise and empathise so for me I found it like a non biblical parable .

It’s ok I am wearing really big knickers!

“It’s ok I am wearing really big knickers!”-a hilariously funny insight to the confessions of a teenage girl! But as the title of the book states not any normal teenage girl a girl who thinks her life is “totally unfab, “due to her embarrassing parents and a little sister called Libby, Georgia being the main character thinks Libby is completely bonkers because amongst other things she is a cat kisser! In one chapter  Libby picks up Angus the  cat up and kisses his nose then puts him back down an licks his fur then proceeds and dresses him up like little Bo peep . Rennison makes that bit funny by emphasising the fact that Georgia’s sibling has no self-shame.

The reason why I love this book is because it’s closer to life than a teenage fantasy book. Popular teenage fantasy books like twilight where they have an immortal war love triangles and a love, life and death situation in every chapter. I guess you can say I absolutely love this book and really enjoyed this book because I could relate to this bubbly girls hope, dreams and wishes.

I was in hysterics laughing when I read this book. This is a must read on  a long  journey or a rainy day.

My rating and recommendation

5 stars – when I read this book I felt like I was in a bubble of happiness, there is nothing better than  being snug in bed with this book! I recommend this book to girls 11+ because it is quite a complicated book because it knuckles down on the core feelings of a teenage girl who is the victim of embarrassment, family embarrassment.
